loading . . . The Carnival of Mathematics is a monthly blogging round up hosted by a different blog each month. The Aperiodical will be taking responsibility for organising a host each month, and links to the monthly posts will be added here. To volunteer to host a forthcoming Carnival (see below for months needing a host), please contact Katie.
The Carnival of Mathematics accepts any mathematics-related blog posts, YouTube videos or other online content posted during the month: explanations of serious mathematics, puzzles, writing about mathematics education, mathematical anecdotes, refutations of bad mathematics, applications, reviews, etc. Sufficiently mathematized portions of other disciplines are also acceptable. An FAQ can be found at the bottom of this page.
**Current:**Carnival****** 245 **will be hosted by Robin at Theorem of the Day, and the link will be posted here shortly
1**Next:** **Carnival of Maths 246** will be hosted by Tom at tommaths.blogspot.com, and submissions will close on **1st****December**.

## **Carnival of Mathematics FAQ:**
### When are the carnivals published?
The Carnival of Mathematics gets published during the first week of the month (or as soon after that as the host gets time to do it). Posts are collected during the month, and on or around 1st of the month, new posts coming in get directed to the following monthβs host.
### I would like to host a carnival at my blog. What should I do?
Check the list of upcoming Carnival hosts above, and then contact Katie to let her know youβre interested. If youβd like to include the Carnival logo in your post, please do (and hereβs a version for on a non-white background).
### Who does the admin for the Carnival?
The Carnival of Mathematics is organised by the Aperiodical. The Aperiodical will be taking responsibility for organising a host each month, and links to the monthly posts will be added here.
### Iβve found a cool maths article that someone else has written. Can I submit it to the carnival?
Yes, but it should be a recent post (new in the last month) and should have never been submitted to the carnival before.
### Do Carnival submissions have to be blog posts?
No! Weβre happy to take links to YouTube videos, social media posts or threads, standalone websites or other forms of online content β as long as itβs new this month.
### Who decides what gets included in a Carnival and what doesnβt?
The carnival hosts do! The carnival is just a guest on the hostβs blog, and so what each host writes is entirely up to them. In general, most carnival hosts will include almost everything that is submitted to them and a bit more besides. However, if they choose NOT to link to something, then so be it.
### Will the Carnival of Mathematics take articles on basic maths?
Yes β everything from pre-school maths to cutting edge research is fair game for the Carnival of Maths. We also accept submissions related to recreational maths, mathematical art, and puzzles and games with a mathematical flavour.
### Do you accept articles from subjects such as computer science or physics?
As long as there is a reasonable amount of maths content, then yes.
### Is there anything else I need to do, besides submitting my article?
No, there is nothing else you have to do. When the Carnival is published, however, you may want to post a link to it on your blog. The carnival host will appreciate your support, and your readers will enjoy a chance to browse what other maths bloggers have written.
### Does the carnival have a social media feed?
Yes. You can see regular posts on Mastodon @[email protected], BlueSky @CarnivalofMaths.bsky.social and (if you must) on Twitter at @CarnivalOfMath.
### Can a Carnival be numbered with a number thatβs a three-digit number and also a fifth power?
No. https://aperiodical.com/carnival-of-mathematics/
