I appreciate how involved kid is about packing his own lunch, but I wasn’t expecting to negotiate about quarts of jello and cook a frozen pizza at 8am.

Finished reading Alchemised. Interesting. Dark. Very dark. The content warnings a) should have been at the beginning (matters when audiobook) and b) muuuuuch clearer about what was explicit that happened on the page. Poorly done. Enjoyable is a difficult word for this book but I’m glad I read it.

List two hours fighting with latex to get a pdf to export. Then the pdf was malformed. Coolcooolcool. Love this.

New semester hype

More knitting. Busted out some yarn I spun two years ago to work on a cowl.

Got some yarn for Christmas! Haven’t kitten in a year and I’ve been itching to. Knitted a little too close to the yarn chicken sun and had to tie on scraps to bind off at the end. But I’ve needed new mittens!

Kiddo decided to decorate for Christmas. He set up and decorated the tree by himself.

Concerning sounds from the kid in the kitchen are my only inspiration for getting out of bed.

Got dumped by my house cleaner for being a landlord and they jar a zero tolerance policy about working for landlords. Which I respect and was open about it. But frustrating because I never intended to be one and the $700 a year profit I make is all spent in mutual aid stuff.

In a rare experience, looks like jetbrains has improved pycharm with the unified version.

I have seen a cat big spoon a large child nearly off the bed. Like a bed Godzilla of cuddles.

Bought kiddo school supplies before the entire town sold out of crayons.
