Before bringing this dog home, I would rarely get excercise if it wasn't for work. But since bringing her home, we've been walking 4 or more miles a day and I'm loving it!

It's been 10 days since I brought home a dog, and she's doing better than I could have hoped. She's the first thing I see when I wake up, and the reason I'm getting excercise. Giving her a home is the best thing I've ever done, and I hope everyone gets a chance to love someone as awesome as her ❤️

Update: I probably won't be coming out to him yet. Because of some life stuff going on, including possibly bringing a dog into my life in the next week, I think I'll hold off on telling him. I'd like to take the path of least risk now, especially since it won't just be me I have to worry about soon!

It's unfortunate to see people be against zoos without ever putting much thought into why, but if they're at least willing to listen and maybe learn something, I'd call that progress. I hope to see more people willing to listen as time goes on, it will do a lot of good for everyone.
