Princess Zelda let out a small laugh. She sighed and nodded her head in agreement with her. “You’re right… Goodnight, Midna. I hope to see you again.” She wanted to give her a hug, but decided against it. She turned and walked out of the library, yawning as she did.

“Well.. To be fair, I doubt he’d be surprised that you said that. Even now.” She allowed a laugh to slip past her lips. She had no room to talk… She needed more friends too.

“What—“

She winced at the flick, rubbing her forehead. She stared at her still. “Yeah, plus.. I could always get you to convince him if he did say no..” She was mainly joking… Half joking. She knew Midna would most likely help her, she knew she enjoyed messing with him.

Zelda would consider her suggestion. As much as she would hate to involve Link.. For numerous reasons. She would need someone with experience to aid her. “I suppose I could see if he will assist. I have to be sure this goes well.” She nodded her head to herself, she looked at Midna. “Thank you.”

The Princess’s eyes stayed narrowed as she stared at him. What ever could he require her help with? “Hmph… Very well.” She didn’t trust this… Not one bit. One wrong move and she was sure to get her bow and arrows.

R00🌙 It’s 2 AM, I will be replying more tomorrow. I’m gonna go relax and give my mind a break. I also wanna make sure I’m rested before I tackle LONG replies. I have also saved stuff for later. 👍

She would nod her head at her… At least she was helping. She would then wave her hand to dismiss her. She would walk off to go speak to her servants about this. Shao Jun will receive what she needs, it’ll just take time to get the supplies and people ready.

“Hmm.. Let me see.. They go through extensive training. They must remember the code—!” She paused as her eyes went wide. She then perked up a little bit when she got an idea. Since most of these ‘knights’ are afraid of monsters… “That’s it! I will force them to go against monsters..” ➤

So that is all she was requesting of her? Hm, she could make that happen. “Very well, I will send a few of those with you. I will also give supplies to you. Will that do?” She asked bluntly, but it was genuine at least.

Zelda went speechless, just to go immediately to being ashamed. She was not wrong at all, even she had noticed it… “Yes.. You are right. There’s only a select few that do a great service. However.. There’s so many.. You can just tell who’s just here for the pay.” She sighed, her shoulder slumped.

Zelda considers her words, she still didn’t feel as if she could trust this woman.. But, she wasn’t heartless enough to cast her out. “Hmm… It would be cruel to send you away. I suppose we could land a hand. What do you require?” She could dispatch some of her men, or perhaps more…

Zelda sighed, she nodded her head. She knew she should probably already mentally prepare herself for whatever Midna may say… “Of course… If you must.” Her tone was soft, or as soft as it could be at the moment. She would fidget with her dress a little.

“Hm… Perhaps they are, or perhaps they’re not.” Was this her way of joking? Who knows with her… Her expression stayed neutral.

“Why not? I feel I should keep my aim sharp.”

“Stand still, would you? I require target practice.” ♡

The Princess would quietly stare at Shao Jun. She wanted to be sure this individual was being truthful… After Ganon and Zant.. She couldn’t be too careless with her decisions anymore. “I see. Why is the Empress seeking help from Hyrule or all places?” She asked, her tone serious and to the point.

She was certainly hesitant about it, but what good was keeping it in going to do? “I.. Don’t know where to begin.. What kind of Princess am I? I wasn’t able to properly defend my kingdom sooner.. Sure things are fine now, but..” She sighed, already feeling frustrated.

The Princess would go silent at that question. She wanted to say things were fine, things were better. But, that would be a lie. At least for her. “The Kingdom and all of Hyrule are well.. Me on the other hand. I still need to heal..” There is no point in hiding that from Midna.

Zelda was still in disbelief, but she had calmed a little. She just never expected to see her again, she was just.. Shocked. “I see.. Either way, it is.. Pleasant to see you once again.” She smiled a bit, Midna was one of the few Zelda trusted.. Considering everything.

The Princess was speechless as she stared up at her. It was really her?! She blinked a few times… “M—Midna?! But.. How can this be? You broke the mirror.. Did you not?” She was baffled, yet a small part of her felt relieved to see her again. She had missed her.
