I don't think I've ever suffered from a side effect of medication before. But now I am and it had to be sodding tinnitus didn't it. An apparently uncommon side effects of amitriptyline, especially at neuropathy-treatment dosages. Bloody excellent.

Just been for an entirely futile x-ray, because by now even my GP has accepted that the issue is, and has prescribed me drugs for, nerve pain from a herniated disc trapping said nerve, but an x-ray on my thigh is apparently the gateway to an MRI to actually diagnose the issue. In maybe a few months.

Collected our new arrivals last night and got them home. Meet Stan and Sid, both about 7 months old. Stan is bolder definitely, Sid is taking his time. They're both adorable and love fuss (Stan will roll over for any belly rubs going). They're both adorable 😻

Hahahahaha submitted an online request for a GP appt to a) get effective painkillers and anti-inflammatories to help with, y'know, the screaming in agony pain, and b) a referral for a blood test for possible psoriatic arthritis. Got an appt within half an hour! Oh, it's A FORTNIGHT AWAY. Wtaf 😭

So this morning saw an emergency appt at the osteopath after I spent an hour or so basically screaming in pain trying to get out of bed. Helped a bit but still lots of pain, so yeah, fun. Apparently it wasn't necessarily my fault for daring to go out on Sat as the herniation is worse than thought...
