Alright the challenge of finding stuff to watch when your husband isn't here. And you like the same stuff generally. I don't watch loads of TV solo usually but sometimes needs must. I'm watching Merlin (genuinely love, and watched many eps on flights etc). What else should I watch...?

As a random stocking filler my sister got me a foot pumice thing from B&M I think. About £1.50. Just used it for the first time in a bath and I think it might be one of the best things anyone ever got me. She knew I'd love it and she was right. Help.

2016 vs 2026 I remember the first one well, the first pic of me in 2016 in my photos, I'd just made an Indian spiced whole roast chicken stuffed with rice and a whole egg, and here I'm sprinkling it with chat masala. And then, last week on holiday.

In bed now feeling rubbish and watching the Christmas Qi which was filmed immediately before the second one of the day we saw being filmed, many (many) months ago. Alan Davies was absolutely smashed during all of ours, so let's see if that comes across in the next ep 👀

Home, first load of washing in, bags (kind of) unpacked, Indian ordered, Traitors catch up. And wine. Holiday ain't over yet.

Jess Glynn on loop was bad enough when we had a week in the sun ahead of us. On board with a feels like of -8C at home, I'm tempted to jump into the jet engine.

Me n him made us all Christmas dinner earlier, and absolutely smashed it if I say so myself. Even better, I didn't eat my body weight, so now I'm enjoying more pinot noir, and pudding later feels absolutely feasible, and even some tea 😱

Apparently most of you, judging by your posts, finished on Friday. As did by husband. I've done my last day in the office at least so...🙌🙌 And we went out for a pointless attempt to see Christmas stuff on the Southbank and down to London Bridge, all of which has apparently decided nahhh.

I'm slow cooker-ing Delia's red cabbage recipe ready for Christmas and it smells incredible 🥰 actually even better is that only me and he eat it, so a good load gets saved for turning into risotto con cavolo nero, or linguine with some pureed as a sauce and the rest stirred in 🤤

Had a bloody lovely evening out with friends drinking beer. Except I'd made plans to get takeaway Japanese for the train home, yet they forced me to stay (disclaimer, zero forcing occurred) and it was closed by the time I left, so I ended up with a Sainsbury's meal deal. Totally worth it.

The guy who sat next to me on the train this morning must have actually bathed in the cheap aftershave he's wearing 🤢

Just had a dinner of supermarket bought breaded fish, mashed potatoes and mushy peas, and it might make my top 10 dinners of 2025. And I've had some *bloody wonderful* meals in 2025.
