In an effort to reclaim some of my sanity, I deleted a lot of apps from my phone, including X and Facebook. I can only hope this is the beginning of something greater for me -an everyday life stripped from society's addiction to meaningless technology and monitored activities.

This. My least favourite part about 2024, or even my online activity in general, was the introduction of generative AI in literally every unnecessary application it could be forced upon. Please, and I do not say this in an entitled manner, get educated on the environmental and humanitarian impact.

I feel like there's a lot to be said about how BF affects workers of retail, especially in Greece where it basically became Black Weeks. But my primary concern is the new sales trend that came after BF, "Cyber Monday", that in classic Greek fashion became "Cyber Week".
