Saw it in Room 40.

... My dad was there. He was like, saying something to me, but I couldn't-- hear him clearly. Lots of static, and... there were some long noodly creatures flying around, I think they were... dragons? I don't know, man! Of course it ends with me murdering my loved ones....

Yeah... The horns really-- hurt more than the scales. The scales showing up feels like burning on my skin. [Mumbled tiredly.] I don't know. I think it's related to that dream...

[He nods, albeit strained. He slowly sits down on his couch, sighing in exasperation. Head goes into hands.]

[Slow, heavy footsteps. He's forcing himself to get to the door. He opens it, and it wasn't any kind of photo effect, those scales truly were there...]

I... I think... I'm going mad again. [He hates the words that he's saying. It makes bile raise in his throat, but he swallows it back down.] That has to be the only explanation. . .

Haaa...haaaaaaaaaa... [Waking up, he feels sick to his stomach at what he saw in his mind...] Soul... I saw him again. I heard him again.

[His eyes snap open, a yelp escapes, and he falls off Soul's lap. On the floor, he pants like he's just run a marathon.]

[The most pathetic whimper, as you notice he's got tears rolling down his face.]

[Sleeping peacefully, well, until. . . he starts to squirm in his sleep. Unhappy groaning. . .]

[Purr purr purr purr, curling up against Soul's chest, soon snoozing adorably against his boyfriend.]

Soul, there's a blanket behind you if you want...~ [Purr purr purr purr...]

[Purr purr purr. . . Sweetly nuzzling up to his partner, getting comfy in the other's lap, curling up into a ball like a cat. Nap sounds good...]

It's--hehe, like you like me purring or something! Heheh! [Purring soooo loud...]

[PURRING SO LOUD IT'S VIBRATING SOUL'S AND STAR'S BODIES.]

[Plops down into his lap. Happy noises!]

I heard there's some story behind it, but I can't be fucked to know it. [Grabbing Soul and dragging him to the couch.]

The plank of wood thingy! It's made SPECIFICALLY for spanking. Which is INSANE. [Holding Soul's hand.]

Like, ever. If you cross paths with them, try to disengage. Those kids are NO goddamn joke. [Patting his boyfriend's shoulder.] It may seem uncool, but it's better than that spanking weapon-thing they have. Ooough, hate that thing!

Mm. . . I wouldn't recommend it . I wouldn't mess with whoever gotcha. . . Even I don't really tread around those parts..

Yeah, you have a lil lump from where one of those solid gumballs hit you. [Pokes it. Ow.] Yeah, that's a nasty lump. . . yeesh, are they coating those gumballs in liquid plaster?!

You're my boyfriend, why would I not help?! [Patting Soul on the shoulder, and gently scanning over for gum in his hair... but..] You sure you didn't get hit by those gum-ball things? Like, the ones that are hard rather than soft?

They HATE adults and teenagers. It's like, their whole motto. I'm not surprised they went all aggro on you. I mean, adults can be fucking terrible, so... part'a me doesn't blame 'em.

You ran into one of those Kids Next Door kids, didn't you. [Star???]

[He gets up, leaving the warmth of Soul's lap regrettably. He stretches, and gets ready to paint.]

[One more smooch to the cheek.] Alright, alright. I better start painting before my palette starts to dry...

[Of course, it has to end, since they need to breathe. Even as they pull away, Star catches his breath.] Wow... you're good at that.

[The french kiss of the century. Star is inexperienced, but passionate. Sometimes, that's all you need.]

[Soul's holding him in place, and Star couldn't be happier, purring loudly. Pokes his partner's sharp teeth with his tongue, just for a moment. Testing the waters.]

[Here comes the kisses! Peppering several kisses over Soul's face, before landing a passionate one right on his lips! There's a little bit of paint on his cheek, but.. it adds something, somehow.]

[Feeling comfortable and safe, Soul's embrace makes Star happy... He sorta wiggles.] I want kisses, lemme turn around, will ya?

You like the third one? I thought it was the weakest. [The meister hums in thought, purring resonating from his chest as he looked closer at it.] Then I'll use the third one! But... I'm so comfy I don't wanna paint yet...maybe in a few minutes~

[Purring, he's deep in the paint, and soon enough, all four of the new sketches are a bit looser and sketchy, but still had their fair shares of detail.] Which one of these seem better?

Or, you know, I could use my phone! [A laugh, squeezing Soul's hand back, as he sketches. He does let go to readjust the paper, but quickly reconnects their hands. He can feel his heartbeat against his back... aww.]

Later, when I wanna kiss you more. [He'd tease a little, going back to his sketch. He has a few cool ideation sketches of Soul going on. . .] Hmm... I should get photos so I can use that as reference for more tough poses. As long as you can hold it for 3 to 5 seconds.

[Nodding, Star gets comfy on his partner's lap. Purrrrrr.] Thanks. If it gets uncomfortable, we can move to the couch or somethin'. [He gets back into his groove, and you have an excellent view of his sketching.]

[Sketching up a storm, he lifts himself up to see Soul. He has an idea.] Before I get back to painting... Can I... uhm. [He gets cold feet with his question, just for a moment.] Sit on your lap while I draw? Or is that-- too much?

[He's deep in the sketching process when Soul gets back, sitting at the table. He knows his back'll hurt after today...but, even so, he's on the grind. A soft purring escapes with his breathing.]
