LED bulbs above 4000k for home or automotive applications should be illegal. There’s no point to them other than shouting “Look at me! I hate you AND myself, so I pretend to be God with my little suns.”

Whelp, the C8 Grand Sport is real. But this little tidbit from the article intrigues me even more. I'm also excited for the next gen of Chevy small blocks.

Forget making high school kids read important novels. They don't understand the point at that age anyway. If only there were a way to incentivize people with a fully developed frontal lobe to read and write a report on a book that would make them better understand themselves, society, and the world

I let my Corvette Instagram go dormant for about a year now. I log back in and my most popular Reel with over 198k views had the audio removed for no reason and I don't have an option to add new audio. The same audio is still up for other Reels. Here it is with the audio added back:

I'm an avid supporter of people owning trucks to do truck things. And I'm pretty open to what "truck things" could be. But this is mental illness. I know of people who own them and they have boarder line personality disorders.

The coolest C4 vette wheels, but you can't drive on them. Magnesium has a limited shelf life. They're likely to disintegrate. Most collectors will roll up to a show on different wheels then put on the Callaway Mags for display.

If Android added requests & approvals for phone calls and being added to a group chat, I’d switch back. I know Apple won’t do it first. The nerve of people trying to contact me lol.

Lucid. I’m not sorry. It’s this weird, spacebuick exterior with an interior that looks like a Volvo made with Mercedes materials. It’s not a top tier EV company and would be out of business tomorrow if the Saudis pulled their funding today.

The official car of “We have 400Z at home” It’ll be neat as an AWD hybrid sports coupe, but this segment is dead — unlike the GR86, which it would have as an in-house competitor.

I’ve been saying it for nearly a decade now (starting on Twitter) - Tesla will not be around in its current form within 20 years. They’ll most likely become a software company. IBM got out of the B2C market, there’s a precedent.

Imagine having a really great interview for a new job then moving to the next round, which included submitting a sample project. But after spending your time to make it perfect, you get completely ghosted by the interviewer and recruiter – even after two followup attempts 😀

There was a homeless gentleman in the observation lounge of the Pioneer Zephyr train that's on display right before the ticket line, but still INSIDE of the Chicago Museum of Science and Industry. He was kind. But that was a uniquely Chicago experience. Not my photos, just painting a picture.

That's bonkers a 3.9L V8 can make 640hp. I'd take a V8 that size making half that power and be happy.

1/3🧵 I fancy myself as a connoisseur of prewar O gauge trains. And I have some scale models with better sound and details. But the 2 locos I enjoy running the most are this Texas Special F3 from 1999 and 2065 Hudson from 1954. They have so much character to them.

The more I look at this thing, the more I hope Ram offers one with a "Limited" or "Tungsten" package. Give us one w/ captains chairs up front and in the middle, plus a bench in the back. And still make the middle and rear seats removable!

The Ford Mustang Dark Horse SC will msrp between $103,490 to $170,970. Idc who you are, that's not worth it for a Mustang GT with a blower. Especially when the C8 Z06 exists in that price range.

One of the scenes I'm most excited to create for my model railroad is a direct, albeit failed competitor to the railways. I'm including a canal barge being pulled by a mule to pay homage to the C&O Canal. The plan is to build it out of balsa wood.

Most of my watches of Titanic were via the two box VHS set on a CRT tv. I’m streaming it on my fancy Samsung TV and man the picture quality is incredible. I’m seeing so much more detail. Also, Titanic is still a top 5 all time movie, idc.
