I'm bad at doing social media how did I not post for two MONTHS

I like fighting games, but I do not have anything near the capability to be good, or even competent, at them That's why I usually enjoy a single player story mode, but even that gets to be too hard for me by the end of most of them 😵‍💫

I know people talk about how confusing or convoluted the plot is for series like Metal Gear or Kingdom Hearts but I honestly didn't know what the hell was happening in Blazblue pretty much all the time

It doesn't help that this is my second job, so bouncing between 12 and 10 hour days has me all turned around and fucked up And the fact I have to do overnights for my hospital job every so often does NOT help

It is to the point where I'm talking about it to my fiancée and she says "hey, if you really don't like it, you can totally quit" Which is reassuring, I just feel TERRIBLE because she was so excited for me to get the job and I know she won't be mad at me or anything Bleh!!!!

12 hours in a hospital basement getting yelled at by most of the staff for passing along messages is not doing my own mental health any favors I just feel terrible that I'm almost a month into training and I'm considering dipping out when so many people have been cheering me on

Without trying to get too salty: it's so wild seeing people on here talking down to folks for being upset at the rise in video game prices One person alone has described it as people being in a cushy bubble, and another saying that the outrage is just a way to avoid the Nazi US govt

Like Goodwill has specs on the computers they sell there and there's already computers that can run some of the stuff we'd wanna play together so I'm like hmmmmmmmm

I have made my poor fiancée jealous whenever I play Lethal Company or REPO and such and she can't join us!! She's not interested enough to get her own Steam Deck, but I've been looking at Goodwill, of all places, for some low end PCs and it looks promising!!

I also use my Steam Deck as my computer, which has come in handy in more ways than I thought it would! It makes customizing the whole system to your liking really easy! Like seriously when it comes to a handheld console experience it really cannot be beat!!

Nows my time to plug the Steam Deck again, which starts at $400, and can likely play most of your Steam library out of the box! Or if you're like me and didn't have an established Steam account, games go on sale all the time! I've built up a huge library in the less than a years time I've owned it!

Hopefully the good folks out there crack Switch 2 emulation quick 😌

Mario Kart, Donkey Kong, and Air Riders look cool, but everything else either wasn't my bag or will also be available on Steam so it's like mmmm I might be skipping S2 for a while

I could see myself picking one up secondhand eventually, but I play almost exclusively digital nowadays and $80 for first party Nintendo games that almost never go on sale is just Rough

Man I wish I could join in on the Switch 2 excitement, but the $450 price tag and $80 games is just killing it for me at the moment :(

Saying I don't have the patience for the Sims but also have poured actual thousands of hours (EACH) into Pokémon, Minecraft and Disgaea seems pretty nuts if I think about it too hard

Chat, I'll be honest: I wish I enjoyed playing the Sims 😔 I don't have the patience or aesthetic senses to have fun with it, but the upside is that I LOVE watching people play the Sims because I like watching a vision evolve or come into fruition!!
