That time of year for Chinese to visit their ancestors at the cemetery (The Plot as I call it). Plant some flowers, bring some roast pork and steamed chicken. And burn candles and incense so the area where Chinese are buried, the air is infused with the scent of incense.

So once again, driving in to the cabin was not happening so hauling in supplies etc with the sled. Can't remember the last time snow was still around in April. Weather is not too cold but still chucking wood into the woodstove. Hope everyone has a restful and wonderful weekend

Traffic in Toronto sucked before bike lanes were installed, and will likely get worse if the bike lanes are removed. Don't blame cyclists for gridlock.

Six years ago I had this wild idea of photographing lesser known directors with my 8x10 camera during the Toronto International Film Festival. Friend, let me tell you that was something I should have thought about more, but I still made nice portraits. Some reg sheet film, some instant.

When I'm not working, you might find me making gelatin silver fiber prints. Or platinum, depending on what process I feel like.
