In all honesty I haven’t had the time or be bothered to think about #WCfantasy but I might as well stick a wildcard team together so that I still beat my brother again.

Can’t say I’ve managed to watch many games the past week but are VAR just not as involved in decisions like pens/reds etc in other games? I’ve seen it used for offsides but not much else from the games I’ve seen.

I’m not sure this ref knows what day it is. Surely at least one of those Pickford or Konsa ‘tackles’ which resulted in none of the ball being touched was a foul???

Considering I’ve already written off Coventry and Hull, I’m really disappointed in Ipswich submitting defeat already and making the most boring manager appointment, outside of Scott Parker, possible. At least the title race should be good next season.

Just thinking about it and assume the <5% bonus resets every MD? Will be annoying if one of mine return then end up going over by the next MD and lose the chance of a bonus. Think I’d prefer it if it was based on MD1 ownership for the Group stages and then reset again for the KOs.

Rewatching Andor and I just do not get how ‘Disney Star Wars’ managed to create something so special. Every piece of dialogue is incredible. Definitely one of my favourite ever series.

Very annoying that my secret weapon of being able to afford everyone, by having a starting winger for Germany, now being injured is very annoying. Would be a pity for a talent like Karl to be ruled out of the tournament this late on.

El Mala is obviously talented but Brentford signing a player like him, with only 1 proper year of top flight football, for 50m is crazy. Bigger budget than all bar 5/6 European teams. Surely something has to change otherwise prem clubs are going to just win every Europa/Conference league?

Leeds can’t ask for a much better start to the window than securing a new contract for Ampadu. Still massively underrated and easily a European level player.

Much smaller scale but the Swans had a period like Liverpool where we failed to sell/renew our best players and it’s made everything so much harder for us to progress. Must be an 🇺🇸 thing. It’s not sustainable at any level and with the current small squad I do worry about them next few years.

First draft of #WCfantasy and I have 5.5m spare without looking for budget players. Pricing looks overly generous which is annoying. Would have been nice to be forced to find a Curaçaoan or even a Scottish player to mix it up.

Enjoyed few days with about 5 mins of signal and no fantasy football to think about. Unfortunately first thing I seen when I got on here was World Cup fantasy has launched.

The final GW summed up the season for me, mostly a disaster with the odd few saving me along the way. Considering all that and being in the millions before Christmas, I’m fine with 177,883 OR and winning a few MLs. Will enjoy the break and then onto next season.

Absolute disaster of a round but still managed a green and end the season with 29 OR on Gaffr Super League. Tough season so really happy with that. Hoping @gaffr.bsky.social keep this going again next year, great fun.

Bowen hasn’t had his best season yet still got 20 G/A. Really interested to see what he does in the summer. Does a top team go for him considering he’s 29? If not does he spend a year in the championship breaking records and stay?

Target Hull next season is on. Not sure how they’ve done it but fair play to them though.

I seem to be in the small minority who think Haaland, Saka, Gabriel, Raya, Cherki all start, but most will come off around 60 mins. Pep will want a big send off win and Arteta will want to keep rhythm.

Found that pretty straightforward for TOTY (pretend it’s a 4-2-2-2, no winger deserves to be in there). Anderson and Kayode were 50/50 to be in there, rest were no question.

Sunday is a further reason that the deadline should be for the KO of the first game(or 30 mins like Gaffr). If everyone gets the line ups rather than some getting leaks, it levels the playing field&gives opportunity for people to punt on someone they know is starting and avoid benching’s.

Apart from Porro, I’m against West Ham/Spurs assets for this week despite them having the most to play for. On top of their form, I really think they will both be very nervy so can’t see many goals in the games.

So hard to plan transfers until we get the leaks. Assuming it’s just Arsenal/City boys at risk, I’m happy with rest. So shortlist for each position and will just panic pick with vibes before deadline. DEF: Porro/Hall MID: Enzo/Anthony/Bruno G FWD: Kroupi/Osula No leaks and I don’t have a clue.

Anyone else give last fan standing a go and still in it? Pity that when I usually do last man standing I go out first week. Not sure whether to just go City or gamble on someone like Newcastle.
