Ya ’ll got Thibs relieved of his duties. Everyone was calling for him to insert, bench, and start players for weeks, even months. He finally does and guess what? Kind of exposed the inflexibility of the mindset, not sure you get a chip this way and time is of the essence (Knicks ages 28 yr avg)

I got called a hypocrite for being bummed about the Thibs move. Yes I complained about his coaching decisions, yes I was a minutes monitor because I felt the bench needed in season playing time. Yes the perimeter defense never improved but he got us far flaws and all. He’s also quite likable so 🙃

Baybeh to be a fly on those end of season exit meetings. As I’ve said before the players appear to get along but when it came to coaching they appeared split. Some have personal ties/loyalty/ ok with system, others not so much. Can only thank Coach for bringing post season ball to the city 💥

I’ve had my issues with some of his decisions but just like players should be given time to improve and acclimate, so should Thibs. Yes he had a full season but good grief they were one round away from the Finals. Better assistants around him could’ve help. This rotating door $@&! ain’t it

Didn’t watch the game due to a scheduled event that prohibited devices. Just saw the score and found the breakdowns. Not sure what happened in the third. I will say, to get to the ECF with a team that had two new starters at the beginning of the season is still impressive. It’s still #LGK 🧡💙🧡💙

I saw some things in the first few sequences on offense that had me hyped. Jalen moving without the ball and Mikal handling, defense had to keep eye on the ball and with Jalen moving and KAT on the floor, they had to choose who to double. Help d was late a few times Jalen got open for quick six

I appreciate the adjustments made by Mikal this game. I know how much better he can be on both ends. Taking shots that are at a higher percentage and full court press on Haliburton 👌

I wasn’t happy about our roster in the beginning of the season. I wanted to run it back but I’m no GM and you fan out with what you got. Identify was an issue all year due to inconsistency and yet they made it this far. They exceeded the success of last yr’s team and that’s pretty impressive

I’ve also learned tonight Myles Turner is the NBA’s first nba talent to not only play a game but also officiate it and also appeared to be the crew chief among the officials

I’m slowly learning why they don’t show some replays. Just when you think the officiating was awful you learn via other Knick fans posters, they were actually atrocious. Incredible

I had to laugh at myself a few times, especially when yelling at Mikal to stop taking stupid shots and drive, then he blows countless layups. He likes to pour salt on wounds doesn’t he? Cant get on him solel, he wasn’t the only one missing easy lay ups
