So @hopcyn.bsky.social brought a local history book to me that he had found buried at his workplace! It had a Time Capsule mentioned and it piqued our interest enough that we went to the librarians to ask if they knew anything about it - they didn't!!

shit's been rough but the other pets have really been comin in extra loving lately, including some that aren't usually big snuggling types ;; (maybe part of it is that it's colder out, im not complaining)

Patrick's death was so.. shockingly sudden im not even sure where to begin i got him the day that my grandad died, both of them were taken away before i got to see their bodies. i hate how unreal everything feels after a death of a being that's been with you for so long they should live forever

it's been so hard without sage, it feels like im finally starting to grieve him two weeks after everything started. i think peeps death was the end of these miserable fucking two weeks and im left with a hole where love once was. the reality is finally really sinking in that they're both gone

We've been at the vet every day but Tuesday this week 💀 Sage for cremation drop off Patty for his breathing, and lack of appetite (which we are still fighting) Laika for her ears yesterday And then just other weird... life things. 2025 has been saving up for us all year with all this'n.

What a week. Patrick is at the vet for respiratory issues,TBD since the medication didn't seem to do much for him overnight. He's been at the clinic 24 hours and I'm hoping to hear a positive update on him soon. Vet is thinking it's asthma or allergies. Hoping it isn't the secret third thing.

Last night, one of my older senior cats passed away. He had been sick for awhile, medicated, and on palliative care. He was incredibly special to me and I might be working and responding a bit slower this next little bit. Sage, my dearest Bug 2006(ish)-2025
