Kayden McDonald is a name to know if the Chiefs want to add a run-stuffing defensive tackle in this year's draft. He led the FBS in run-stop percentage while recording nine TFLs in 2025.

The Justin Fields trade is official! Fields brings experience (53 career starts) and a dynamic skillset to KC's quarterback room. He's one of just three quarterbacks in NFL history to rush for 1,000 yards in a season.

The Emari Demercado deal is official! Between his career explosive play rate (15.9%) and experience as a pass-blocker (104 career snaps), really excited for what he can add to the Chiefs' offense. Walker, Demercado and Brashard Smith 🔥

Really excited about the Kader Kohou signing. He was one of just 12 players across the league with at least eight PBUs in each season from 2022-24, logging a ton of experience in the slot. Just 27 years old, too.

Alohi Gilman brings significant versatility to the Chiefs' secondary. He's mostly lined up at free safety during his career, but he has experience in the box, over the slot, out wide and on the line of scrimmage. Really like this addition as KC remakes its secondary for 2026.

Khyiris Tonga brings some big-time juice to the middle of the Chiefs' defensive line. He logged career-bests in defensive stops (17) and pressures (17) for New England last year, leading Patriots' DTs in run-stop percentage at 7.8%. 14 snaps at fullback last year, too!

K9 is a Chief!

The mandate this offseason was for KC to get more explosive at running back, and that's Kenneth Walker. His explosive run rate of just under 15% ranked third among all running backs last season. His skillset will help this offense exponentially.

Eric Bieniemy recruited DeMarco Murray out of high school when EB was at UCLA, per Coach Reid. Reid added that there's no better coach to work under when it comes to running backs than Bieniemy, and all these years later, Murray has a chance to learn from him.
