One good thing about having my official youtube artist channel unlocked now is people can actually comment on my song uploads there. Seriously, youtube preventing comments on indie artist releases / unclaimed channels is shitty.

I don't think I'll ever be able to write a conventional romantic love song. Increasingly aware that I just never feel that kind of thing about anyone, and while I can attempt to use characters as stand-ins, It's hard to be authentic/natural about it.

Does anyone else find themselves getting increasingly bothered by tech youtube's relationship with mass consumerist culture? I can think of only a handful of channels that don't seem fixated on buying new shit. And there seems to be a hoarder thing going on with many of them.
