Emailing the open source maintainers for a project that keeps up with correcting for CVEs in dependencies causes those maintainers to do more work. If they already keep up, you need to do nothing. Please don't add paperwork to open source maintainers.

Built a website from scratch for the first time in years. Used AI this time. 1. No framework, all custom JS and CSS 2. There's less CSS and JS from when I use a framework 3. Built it much faster than I used to It was a great experience.

v3.16.4 of @helm.sh is out. Get it at github.com/helm/helm/re... This release only bumps a couple dependencies, one of this had a CVE. This release is a few days laters than normal because it was going to be skipped until a dependency had a CVE update. This releases deals with that. #Kubernetes

Updating seldom touched complex regular expressions is no fun. No fun at all.

This cycle I worked closely with the helm.sh maintainers as they charted a course from helm3 to 4. This is the year to get involved. They did a live release on the show floor of #kubecon today. Didn't even realize they did it from a Framework 13 running projectbluefin.io. Nice.
