I came across this bootie pattern because I wanted something I could knit on two needles (so I could use my knitting belt) and in a DK weight yarn. I am absolutely in love with how cute these are. Pictures do not do them justice. #knitsky

This baby sweater is striped the way it is because I didn't have enough of any of the colors to do more. But it turned out to be one of my favorites this year! #knitsky

A small detail that I appreciate in this Cthulhu cross stitch pattern is that his pentagram is stitched in DMC color 666. It's the little things.

One of my current projects is this paint by number from Schipper. My painting technique is fairly terrible (wavy edges, willy-nilly brush strokes) but I'm enjoying the process.

I think the secret to making bread in a bread machine is to make sure to put the freaking paddle in the pan. But that's just been my experience, ymmv.

This afternoon I was woken up from nap so I could go downstairs and eat cake. Living my best life, blessed, etc.

Possibly controversial opinion: I prefer to see the movie/TV series before reading the book. The book's always better, and I already have a picture of what the characters look like when I start reading.
