In the future when Red Haze 2 comes out, & I talk about inspirations for the game (outside of personal things), it's going to be a weird experience since they're all things most people have never heard of, & half of them are Gmod maps. But I have a direction I'm in love with.

(1/10) Hey, did you know we're approaching Yai Gameworks 10-year anniversary? Well, now you do! I've technically been making games since 2013, starting with Blank Slate, but "Yai Gameworks" was made officially in 2015 as part of becoming a Steam developer to release Close Your Eyes: Redux on Steam.

A promise from me is I plan to work on my own little games regardless of the state of the world, without the use of AI. I love the independent artist spirit, I've already chosen to dedicate my life to making little games. I'll do it with other creatives without AI till I die.

The original line was, "My mind doesn't like me, it's so unruly & cruel", but this misread has infested my brain to the point it's becoming an in-joke with a friend of mine, & I don't think anyone else will find it funny, but it's actually becoming a problem how much it tickles me.

Been holding voice auditions for one of my games, "Close Your Eyes", recently. Been fortunate to have over a thousand people audition, I'm truly grateful. But living rent free in my head for two weeks now was someone's misread of a line, "My mind is so unruly & cruelly."

Finished up the Sink Your Teeth soundtrack! Lot's of music in this thing, but here's a 30-second sampler of four of the vocal songs made originally for the game: www.youtube.com/watch?v=my4v... Work on it is going swell. I hope to surprise people with this game.

I can say now that Sink Your Teeth is going to have a 100% original soundtrack. Most of the music is done by me, except for six vocal songs, all of which are original songs made for the game by four different musical artist. I'm really looking forward to people hearing the OST!

Close Your Eyes Remake work continues (thank you to the hard work also from @grcnexe.bsky.social, who did the map here), though there will be a delay of the big Early Access update from December 22nd to 23rd. Thank you for those waiting on it for being patient, hard at work on it!

Continuing work on the Close Your Eyes Remake (thanks to @grcnexe.bsky.social cial for animating these old doodle backgrounds of mine).

(1/2) Two Yai Gameworks updates. A huge Close Your Eyes Remake update will be hitting between December 2nd-22nd (whenever its ready). Red Haze's final content update will release on February 13th/14th (depending on region), which will make the game fully complete.

Right now slowly but surely making my way through doing final passes of all the previous maps in Close Your Eyes Remake. Trying to keep the feel while following creative whims, to see if people who like CYE like the changes making to the game in these final passes.
