1/3 Another Jenius build. I have a love-hate relationship with the Macross kits. On one hand, they make such sleek-looking kits, especially in fighter mode. On the other hand, the color-correcting stickers (or decals) are hard to apply nicely. #plamo #macross #macrossdelta #vf31c

1/2 Zaku Amazing Custom complete. Had a last minute fumble with chipped paint on the right thigh, but I'll add a bit of silver there for some weathering. Overall fun, but man the Zaku II is hard to pose. What you see here is pretty much the limit. #gunpla #gundam

KO Pale Rider Titans D II. Or actually, a mash-up of it, the heavy weapon ground type, and the space type. A worthy (if poorly painted) addition to my grunt squad. I think I may need to add a Lightning Buster to my backlog. Extra comments in the Alt text for some of the pics. #gunpla #gundam

Revamped the HG display with logical pairings (as much as possible). In theory making room as well, as I can now go 3-tier compared to my previous 2. Of course, that means more crowding, but #gunpla problems I guess. #gundam

A quick project that is going on hiatus while some Titans decals come in. It's a KO Pale Rider Titans D II, and as KO, I'm more than willing to cut off a beam saber holder and replace it with an articulating arm that holds a long auto cannon. #gunpla #gundam

1/2 Custom Ez8 SR "Ace of Spades". Color palette inspired by an Armored Valkyrie from Macross. It's fully painted except for a couple of inner joint parts. This was a fun exercise in organization and planning, clipping the parts and sorting them by runner first, then painting. #gunpla #gundam

1/2 Burn-out build, so nothing outside of a bit (or, a lot) of detail painting. Don't look too closely, as it's chock-full of little mistakes, but I'm glad that my RG Nu has its counterpart. #gundam #gunpla

1/2 It's finally done. While I normally find the decaling process to be relaxing, some of the pink UV decals were both very thin (this fragile), but also nearly invisible to my colour-blind eyes. I also had a lot of waiting for some chrome paint to dry after top coating. #gunpla #gundam

Some clean up, decals, and top coat left to do, but the Vidar is as fantastic as people have said. Still, looking forward to a simple HG kit next to recharge the batteries. #gunpla #gundam

A Tale of Two Gun Cannons* *Or how I bought a KO Origins Gun Cannon after forgetting I had an HGUC Gun Cannon in my backlog. When I realized, I knew I had to build them back to back. I was pretty sloppy on the clean up for the HGUC (red), but eh, it's fine for the shelf. 1/2 #gunpla #gundam

1/4 VF-22S Sturmvogel Milia-use. The other decaling project last week, and a chance to try out some Tamiya X35 Semi Gloss that I've had for a while but never used. Perhaps unsurprisingly, it looks the most like plastic, especially with the bright red color way. #plamo #macross #macross7

1/2 Bootleg Varguil FINALLY done! First my decals were stolen from my front door. (Along with some new paints) Next I ordered the wrong set. (Moon Gundam) Then I broke a C-clip which I needed to repair. But after all the setbacks, this glorious kit is finished. VF-22S tomorrow #gunpla #gundam

Sometimes you get a dumb idea keeps you up until 3:30 AM, and what you should have done is just do it rather than toss and turn on bed for 2 hours. Then you should definitely go to bed early the next evening to recover some sleep debt, rather than spend 3 hours airbrushing a kit. #gunpla #gundam

WIP RX-81 Gundam Orbiter version. Bootleg RX-81 with 30MM AC6 Orbiter weapons. The bootleg is pretty shitty tbh, but I'm pretty satisfied with the vibe. Repainted the bright blue as I felt it was too busy, and I have some more detail-painting to go. #gunpla #gundam

An incredible build. I assume, as a bootleg, it's a reasonable reproduction of the P-Bandai original, which is itself a variant of the Moon Gundam. Thus I can only conclude that, yes, everything I've heard about the Moon Gundam is true. Even more tempted to pick that one up. #gundam #gunpla

Love the design, but a huge pain in the ass to pose. Also, having to pull off the clear blue parts, and mask those I couldn't for the top coat was also a pain. It took a lot longer as well, but that's because The Division 2 DLC dropped in the middle of finishing things off. #gunpla #gundam
