Watched the first two episodes of the new animated Disney+ Friendly Neighborhood Spider Man series. It is wonderfully diverse and will hopefully give a very cool new spin on the Spider-Man mythos, in the same way that introducing Miles Morales in the comics did 10 years ago. Highly recommend.

Just got an email from our County Clerk's office saying that they would only be able to handle passport services by appointment - there are no more walk-in service available for that. Why? There has been a large uptick in requests for passport services "due to the changing Federal legal landscape".

I had this back in 2017, so now I've readjusted the year.

Just watched episode 1 of The Pitt on (HBO)MAX. Solid medical drama about an ER in Pittsburgh. Yes, it scratches the ER itch, not just because it stars Noah Wyle. The concept that each episode is one hour of time in the same day (much like 24 was)-is interesting. 15 episodes total in this season.

For anyone using Gemini in their GWorkspace account: Do the Android apps for things like Docs, Sheets and Slides integrate Gemini? Trying to do a comparison between Gemini and Copilot, and Microsoft does have Copilot in its apps. I don't have an Android to check this on.

Just watched a Netflix documentary called "The Remarkable Life of Ibelin" - about a handicapped young man who had a whole separate amazing life online in World of Warcraft that his family knew nothing about. It's a tear jerker but in the best way. Highly recommend!

Just back from seeing The Lord of the Rings: The War of the Rohirrim. Solid movie, scratches the LOTR itch and also feels very anime. It was a good ride, and is worth seeing on the big screen because it is really gourgeously animated.

If you've not seen Arcane on Netflix you're missing out on one of the best animated TV series ever. It's well written, as well as visually gourgeous with a style all its own. Go see it. Worth every minute.
