in conclusion: BRING BACK THE BEGINS EPISODES AND CHARACTER DRIVEN STORYLINES

i have so many feelings about this show right now that i think i can best sum up to this: 9-1-1 is at its very best when the writers have time to do their job. i feel like every season we ride this wave of great episodes at the beginning all leading to sloppy, unfinished, “off screen” resolutions

i keep very realistic expectations of this show. i didn’t think we would get buddie and i didn’t think bobby was alive. i just wanted a good and entertaining season finale and instead we got… the same big emergency in a different font and 3 minutes of every characters by themselves and a baby

literally no other show fails at season finales like 9-1-1

i’m so sorry fam but that was….. boring?

can we limit the number of big emergencies per season?? they take up so much screen time and rarely ever actually advance the story

thinking about how buck has spent his life watching people leave and eddie has spent his life feeling like he’s never there for the people he loves and bobby’s death just solidified those fears for both of them

i don’t think we talk enough about how eddie owes all of the happiness he found in LA to bobby. everybody else ended up at the 118 and found their family, bit bobby found eddie and recruited him to be a part of that

watching eddie diaz learn how to live and not just exist is so personal to me

i think one of my favorite parts of the buddie dynamic last night and getting to see eddie be his sassy ass self aimed right at buck with that “they don’t even have the same number of letters” like that man just cannot help himself and i am 🫶 about it

it seems i’ll be bringing this back for every buddie argument until they learn to say “i need you” to each other
