Deltarune Ch5 had lots of playtesters and I was one of them. To playtest a game well it helps if you have playtesters from all over the gamer spectrum. I specifically cover the corner of the chart labeled “bad at danmaku”

Fixing previous chapters is harder than fixing new chapters because we have to test everything again just in case the build decides to flap its delicately-coded wings and create a tornado of instability somewhere else somehow. This is called the “buggyfile effect”.

On launch for Ch5 of Deltarune, a lot of folks who had modified their save files in some way experienced Big Kris bug, but today in the bug logs I witnessed the much rarer Small Kris bug… nature is truly beautiful.
