Hooray for PA! The state actually did something positive for the welfare of our pets who can't change the laws themselves. They are family members & should be considered as such in an effort to curb animal cruelty. When someone asks me if I am Swee'pea's owner I say No. I am her adopted caregiver!

Remembering Mac, who visited my welcoming porch bench for a month or so last summer before disappearing into the world. He was a joyful little fellow with a big appetite. He showed up every day for breakfast & dinner. Until he didnt.

Thinking about Midnite today, a friendly neighborhood pocket panther who hung out on my front porch all spring, summer & into the warm early days of autumn. He has been gone since 11/2. I hope he found a warm welcoming home to hang out in for the winter. It's going to be a nasty one this year
