The more I talk to people irl, the more I realize just how lonely I ended up making myself after certain events happened. Living under my own rock, not knowing things nor keeping up with other things I would’ve probably taken note of and conversed about really hits like a truck.

I find it a little funny how a lot of these random thoughtful posts I type out here happen while I have downtime at work with nothing to do. It’s nighttime, and of course it’s usually a terrible idea to think about deeper things after 9 PM, but all the bustling of life doesn’t usually allow these-

Looking back after about a years time or so, I think I’m doing a lot better than I have been in a while! Maybe it’s with the weather slowly starting to get warmer, but it finally *feels* like I’m starting to grow or recover — maybe not loathe myself as much as I used to. But it feels lonely.

Being self-aware of yourself is one thing, especially when trying to heal, but having a friend of yours tell you your own thoughts and analyze you in the same, caring way hits differently — sometimes in the best way possible, in my opinion. <3
