This is Iggy right now! He's having a good nap. Both Iggy and Ella have been far more active today as it's been down to 22c. It feels positively cool. He's napping in his bed box after spending ages sniffing at the screen door.

Cats & humans are melting. It's 30c inside, and it's humid. That's with curtains and blinds shut, an awning out, the patio doors open with the screen on, loft hatch open, windows open for through drafts, 2 fans on, 2 air purifiers on. After 3 days at the screen door the cats have given up today.

For the last 3 mornings, we've been out working together in the garden from about 07.00 to 09.15. Today I dug out a row of elephant garlic, now drying out. Yesterday, it was our early new potatoes. Everything had surged with very wet followed by very warm weather. It looks lovely though.

We were making the two single beds in the 2nd bedroom of the caravan into a double bed as our son is coming to stay with us for our next visit. Anyway, Iggy came in to supervise and climbed into the drawer that the bedding came out of. He supervised all bedmaking from the drawer.

It's very showery weather here in North Wales today. Ella has decided to have a lazy Sunday. She has moved from being partly out of her tunnel to being totally inside. Enjoy your Sunday, whatever you're doing.

Ella wanted the cat food order changed so that half will come with gravy instead of jelly. Here she is closely supervising her human on the laptop to ensure 100% accuracy.

Just seen Garage on the six o'clock news. There is truly no gutter or sewer that that man wouldn't dive into to cause trouble. He's dangerous.

And it's in use for a double #Hedgewatch. The new screen in use for the first time today. The smells are very much being enjoyed. Loads of sniffing going on. Total cost about £65 for wood, mesh and protector pads. Staples and screws just from my toolbox. They both love the caravan screen I made.

Well, busy day yesterday so I missed #Caturday. I built a mesh screen to fit onto our patio door at home. Brits don't have screens like that. But we're having more hot days. It will keep in cats, keep out bugs and let fresh air in. It will let the cats smell the fresh air and they both like that.

It's #TacoTuesday and it's wet and cold back here in Oldham. Ella is using the time to catch up on her naps. She was in a very friendly mood this morning so this was not a trap. She really enjoyed her brush, her treats and some rubs. She's an absolute sweetheart.
