torn about combining 3D models with our 2.5d pixel art aesthetic. right dweller is with a pixel art shader, which fits in better, but I also enjoy the contrast from the full resolution version.

setting up playtesting on steam is a wonderful productivity booster since instead of putting the effort into figuring it out I procrastinate by doing dev work

i've seen a lot of wistful takes on UFO50 and how it captures a lost era of indie games, but I actually feel fairly hopeful about games as a creative hobby it's easy to get lost in the indie business world but I've met a lot of hobbyists who are making really cool games on top of their regular job
