Autistic designer - Tunisian crochet, regular crochet, a bit of knitting.
Testing call for knitters! This lovely pullover would like to be yours. All you need is DK weight yarn and a passion for cables. I used the lovely Amraya Dream Weaver from Sparwolle and can't wait to make another. It's my first time working with baby alpaca and now I want to make all the things.

Speaking of cotton and Tunisian crochet, finally some silence so I can relax with a new summer project with no pressure. Just some smooth cotton, a wavy stitch pattern, a 5 mm hook, and the

It seemed easier to make this Tunisian crochet shawl than to explain how to make it. Finally managed to finish laying out all the little bits of charts. Would it have been easier to make a triangle shawl? Sure. Would I have loved it as much? No chance. Testing call tomorrow. Open your email 😄

Three months is a reasonable time to develop a comprehensive overview of shawl shapes in Tunisian crochet, complete with graphs that show you how they look and how they're built, right? Well, it has to be because that's how long it took.

That's a big yoke. I'm working to stitch counts based on the swatch I showed you before. It might be too big, but maybe it works. Need to divide for sleeves and to add a little fabric at the back. I learned that you can make full rows at the back to lift the back neckline.

When direct approaches don't work to solve a problem, it sometimes helps to try a parallel approach. In my line of work, that means a new project with a similar construction, but much simpler, but in an extremely fun yarn. And yes, swatches are crucial.

Ok, I've decided. I'll be using this space to share things as they are in real time. I'm chaotic, working on many things at the same time, making progress here and there. This Tunisian crochet hat is finished, but the pattern is just on a piece of paper for now.

Let's start this right. I'm here to help folks and cheer you on your projects. I love Tunisian crochet (and regular crochet and knitting too) and that's what I spend most of my time doing, writing about, making videos about. I also dye yarn and make yarn and sew, but those are hobbies.
