i watched a friend playing Europa Universalis 5, and before she logged off for the evening, she gifted a copy of the game to me :) it's a grand strategy game, but even just watching was pretty overwhelming. Paradox games have a reputation which preceeds them a lot :)

i won Call of Cthulu for us! it was a super fun game :) everyone was dead and i fought Hastur for three consecutive turns, killing him, finally, on my last possible die roll :) that was a great time and i look forward to playing again :) we used Tabletop Simulator which was quite interesting

i'm about to play The Last Of Us for the first time. i know they did a series on Netflix (which i didn't watch) that was highly regarded and the game won all kinds of awards, so i'm guessing it's going to be an interesting experience.

My campaign after party wasn't quite as dismal as Cuomo's, but it wasn't terribly far off. In fact, it turned out to be one of the singularly worst nights of my life, and i ended up with a fractured elbow and broken thumb by the end of it all - but that's a story for another time.
