Family from NYC visited this week. We visited riverfront, campus, downtown, waterfalls, coastal mountain, and finished yesterday on the coast. I think they were impressed by Oregon. Fun event of the year so far for us.

Saturday, October 18, 1980 we played at Danceteria in NYC; one of our favorite places to play along with Hurrah’s. Jim Fouratt liked the band & was generous with bookings. Great club, great night, those were the days, my friends.

Today. I first met Sam as he was performing in the dark at Interzone on 6/27/2015 in an early Noise show. He became a good friend and his musical development was amazing to hear over the years. Rest well, dear friend.

Reimbursement from my first Federal criminal trial. Lead witness, 3 days on the stand, 60+ pieces of evidence, more than a day under cross-examination during a blizzard in upstate NY. Mihaly sentenced to 18 years; Isabelle given 9 years; both sent to Attica. These were *really* bad people.
