The Notted Island by Katherine Child, published 9th October 2025 What a month for publishing heartwarming children’s literature! I’ve been fortunate to pick up some gorgeously crafted books this month and The Notted Island is no exception! What a lovely story and what wonderful illustrations!

Always Remember by Charlie Mackesy, published 9th Oct ‘25 1/4 bound cloth in lavender, with foil stamped lettering on the spine. The pages are thick and luscious to touch with incredible illustrations in a variety of mediums throughout. This is a real treat to own because it is also signed! 💜

The Night Creatures: Firefly by Robert Macfarlane & Luke Adam Hawker, published 23rd Oct ‘25 I picked up one of the 1,000 special edition copies which include a print signed by both author and illustrator 😍 This is out now, and I cannot recommend it enough!

Oh boy! Bookfest 2025 at Waterstones Piccadilly was wild. Not in a fun way, but a sweaty, over-crowded & suffocating kind of way. Feel sorry for all involved, including staff who had a day of chaos. 😳🤯😭
