I'm so thankful for Terrifier and In a Violent Nature when I watch another modern attempt at a slasher movie that is just so lame and obsessed with trying to be funny.

Can't imagine how insufferable the internet would be if Buffy was airing today and Willow had just came out. Now you get outrage by 90% bigots and a weird 10% of people who shipped the character with an obvious straight character and now feel betrayed despite no hints of it ever happening.

Cape Fear (1991) is a lot goofier so far than I was expecting...

I'm sure I've called many movies garbage than someone else finds fun in, but I'm side eyeing anyone who literally never says "this movie is stupid and I love it"

I feel like lots of people doesn't seem to realise you can enjoy a bad movie. It's all very subjective but on one side there's folk who take it seriously and anything bad is just unforgivable trash, and then those who if they like something have to defend it like it actually amazing.
