I ran my first half marathon sub 2 hours at the Vienna City Marathon today! July last year I could barely run 5 kilometers without collapsing. It's a goal I set for myself since then and it's so incredibly satisfying to have achieved it.

Vibe coding for backend 👍 Vibe coding for frontend 👎 Somehow validates my longstanding opinion that frontend work requires way more skills than backend work.

It would be kinda dope if 3rd party script providers published sourcemaps with mappings but no sources/source-contents so that monitoring tools would be able to better group errors coming from those scripts.

Any Node.js maintainers I can bother? We're seeing consistent but flakey core dumps in our CI and also locally after upgrading to Node 20. It happens randomly on different jobs with no pattern whatsoever. It's always "Check failed: current == end_slot_index." though.

While ESM is awesome, we're still missing a user-friendly approach for observability instrumentation. The ecosystem needs a standard way to instrument ESM modules without friction. I summarized the challenges and potential solutions here:

I find it funny when people do PR titles with "chore: ....." while it is obviously not a chore. There are less direct ways of telling that your job is annoying you.
