Dragon Quest VII Reimagined reminds me of the Super Mario RPG remake…it’s really easy but so what? It’s super fun! Not every game has to be super hardcore and punishing. Sometimes you just want a fun cozy adventure!

Woo! Just beat my sixth game of the year - The Walking Dead: A New Frontier!!! It was absolutely excellent and I don’t know how I waited this long to play it! Soooo intense!!! I can’t wait to play the final season now! Get into this series if you haven’t already!

Fifth game of the year beat! I had never actually completed Super Mario 3D Land so I decided to restart it and just go for it! Finally beat it and I can confirm the game is amazing! It’s nice to play some older random games just hanging out in the backlog! Yay!

Fourth game of the year beat! No Sleep for Kaname Date was rather disappointing considering the series is so strong and thrilling. Stakes just weren’t as high and I was kind of bored a lot of the time. I would say this is totally skippable and I really enjoyed the first two!

I’m now on Chapter 4 out of 5 in No Sleep for Kaname Date and I’ll admit it’s the weakest out of the three AI: The Somnium Files games. I hope to finish it soon because a) I hope the sense of mystery picks up and b) I am really excited to play a JRPG (lol).

Wahoo! Third game of the year beat!!! Final Fantasy V is an excellent adventure that is super underrated and seems to live in the shadows of IV and VI. It’s simple, yes, but has a lot of heart and emotion. A great entry to the series and I am so glad I played it!!!
