I spent the weekend in Lewisburg, WV and went to the Winter Music Festival, visited the Lost World Caverns, and The Greenbrier. The caverns is home of National Enquirer story of “BatBoy” and the Greenbrier was a secret govt bunker. I wanted to visit the National Quiet Zone but ran out of time.

So I'm dumping my Twitter/X account. I spent all day removing old Tweets. The whole Grok/AI photo thing bothered me. So I moved out of that dumpster.

So just an update to my battle with #MountVernonOhio Flock Safety Cameras. While I couldn't get a public records request, there's a fantastic website that does it for me: haveibeenflocked.com/pd/4800-moun... I'm not telling you what to do with the information provided... just that it exists.

I gave my city council a "Billy Martin" on the Flock Safety cameras and they passed on it. Which is what I expected, but it can't be said that I didn't give them a chance. Modern problems, will require modern solutions.

A citywide surveillance system was quietly installed in Mount Vernon, OH. AI license-plate cameras went up with no public debate or council vote. Police can search the data, residents cannot. Legal? Yes. Accountable? - Not at all.

I wrote my last story about the city of Mount Vernon in November 2024. I took most of the year off, because it was just aggravating fighting city hall. At that point, I had been in and out of court too many times to count and I was just over it all, at least until April of 2025.

Threads: because we don’t want any of this. Finally a deviant on a social media platform. And that’s how we walk out of 2025.
