Clair Obscura might be the best JRPG I've played in a very long time. I love the combat system, the story, the music, the characters, the way it rewards exploration (and actually feels like exploring) the way things progress. I'm placing it above metaphor in terms of my recent JRPGs. It's awesome

Many, Clair Obscura is so good

Clair Obscura feels like a turning point in the gaming industry. A small start up studios of around 30 people have crafted a game that competes with all the big dogs - focusing on a story driving, single player experience. It feels like the mid 2000s when we had loads of PS2 RPGs. Love it.

Just watched the film 'All my friends hate me'. Hard to talk much about it without giving it a way, but I thought it was a great film

Did a play through of Citizen Sleeper today as it was on Playstation Plus. Interesting game, enjoyed it, but not sure I feel the need to give it another play.

Finished Veilguard and got the platinum. Decent game overall, but nothing special

Going to have the same dilemma with Switch 2 as I had with the PS5. All the games in my backlog, do I get to playing them, or wait around for a potential upgrade patch?

Still playing Veilguard and still enjoying it. It's not quite the expansive RPG I might have wanted, but for a hub world action RPG it's still fun enough

Finished Severance Season 2 and The Change Series 2. The change was great. Severance ended strong, but but as a whole the series sagged in the middle. Might have been better as a movie

Always forget when I get to these months how much I miss the sun being out later in the evening. Makes me feel like I have a lot more energy
