The most exhausting and bothersome part of my spine surgery recovery has been completely unexpected. My torso, especially my lower tummy, swells up and down, up and down, and the only relief I get is from ibuprofen. And that makes me worry about my liver.

Well, it's midnight. Our government is shut down.

Today I got recertified for 60 more days of occupational therapy and nursing care. I'll probably need therapy and nursing well into the new year. Rebuilding a spine is no joke. And the therapy work is so hard.

Social Security is trying to say that they made a mistake in giving me $50,000 for underpayment because I was on SSI at the time (a deposit that I even called at the time to verify and specifically ask if it was a mistake). This was when my case was being reviewed to switch from SSI to my father's 👇🏻
