Requirements for the T-26-5 tank were composed
#OTD
in 1939. A new suspension inspired by the LT vz.35 noticeably improved the tank's mobility, but since the T-26 was hopelessly outdated by this point, the change was never put into production.

Russo-Ukrainian War Despite the presence of NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte in Kyiv Russia continued to launch strikes against Ukraine. What Russia hopes to achieve other than hardening Ukrainian resolve is hard to gauge. Rutte's message to Moscow was stop and play ball.

Drone War Although drones have been in use since the 1930s and were first deployed on a large scale in the Vietnam War, their employment in the Russo-Ukrainian War has taken them to a whole new level that will shape future conflicts.

Ukraine in Winter While the Ukrainians, still in a state of war, suffer one of their worst winters, it's worth remembering they have been there before. During WW2 Kharkiv was fought over four times often in the harshest of conditions.
