I can’t believe #SGDQ26 is on its last day. I feel I could’ve done much more but on the other hand I did spend more time with old friends and just doing things outside the event. Very grateful of all the experiences. Definitely coming back to any future GDQ event!

One more game related news. I was playing Diablo 2 on my Steam Deck and oh boy does it bring back memories. Make sure you use the Proton Hotfix compatibility layer or you’ll get stuck with Battle net trying to connect.

I’m not into soccer games but Actua Soccer was one of my favorite childhood games that I played to death on my Mac. To my surprise Actua Soccer 2 is available on Steam. And yes, I tried it on the Steam Deck and it works perfectly. No widescreen support though but I love this.

Anyway, my interest has shifted to games and game development anyway. No plans on creating a game yet though. But I’m fascinated by the tech that exists.

Apple doing the AI things is making me kinda sick. Literally saying “intelligent platform”. Sure. The platform might be, meanwhile it’s making us devs dumber because we are going to embrace the tools but will forget about our OG skills. WWDC used to get me excited, that time has long passed.

Just finished Pragmata. What an amazing game. Really a masterpiece. I will always remember that Sunday when I decided to jump on the train. Glad I did. Consider me a HUGE FAN!

Started replaying Resident Evil 3 Remake. It’s not too bad. I think the fact that I’ve seen a lot of speedruns and played a lot of these games makes the gameplay “easier”. Still tough though.

Anyway, I might give Nu Marathon a try. Not a fan of the multiplayer part, also not a fan about it just being a shooter. Gonna wait a few weeks to see how it evolves but there is a chance I might give it a try.

RE9 is such a gem. I was a fan before but I think I’m a bigger fan now. I haven’t finished it yet, definitely taking my time to enjoy it. But it’s so cool. It does have some nostalgic moments and I’m all down for it. Thank you Capcom.

Can’t get enough of RE9. I had a weird feeling and it turned to be hunger haha. So food now and then some more RE9. I have already decided to replay it on the Steam Deck once I’m done with the Xbox Series X version.
