Best part about the New Horizons update 💚

First game of the year completed is Dispatch! This was a lot of fun and made me laugh even more than expected. Of course I wish some of the choices mattered more, but still a great game either way!

While this final season wasn't perfect, they stuck the landing! I'll miss Stranger Things. What a ride!!

Finished Trails in the Sky 1st Chapter. Very good game, only complaint was the narrative being a tad slow, but I'm sure the second chapter will fix that. Can't wait for the second next year!

Caught up on the awards. Glad Expedition won (apart from the indie categories), would have been nice for Ghost and DS2 to get something but oh well. Some pretty cool announcements, can't wait for Divinity, Control and Tomb Raider!

I'm really glad I saw Wake Up Dead Man in the cinema before it hits Netflix (great film btw), but Netflix buying Warner Bros is depressing. Best to enjoy their cinema and physical media while it lasts!!! 😭

I finally beat the first Hollow Knight after 40ish hours. Quite proud of myself as I suck at Metroidvanias never mind one as hard as this 😂 loved it though. Onto Silksong now!!

DK Bananza finally complete! A fun platformer but did feel a bit repetitive after a while. The finale was cool though. Somewhere between a 7 and 8. It's definitely the Switch 2 highlight so far!!

Been to see Fantastic Four at the local IMAX. Visually fantastic, loved the 60s aesthetic, the score, and it being self-contained in the MCU. Room for improvement with the narrative and the humour though. Simply ok rather than fantastic. Not just first steps but baby steps!

Just got out of seeing Superman. Great movie, great start to the DCU and without a doubt the best Superman film since Superman II. So much fun!!!

Finished Ace Attorney Investigations 2 last night. Another great game in the series, though I think I preferred the first one. Looking forward to playing the Apollo trilogy at some point!

Season two is done. It's a great example of a show which is good in its own right, but a mid adaptation. Now I'm itching to replay both games though!
