Engine is finished, now the interior is next for this 1968 Shelby GT500.

I have bogged up the wheel arches added part of the suspension and also re-primed, on to the engine.

On today's to do list, I am working on the hack job on the front wheel arches. I can hopefully get a nice ride hight out of this fix.

I have two of these kits one is complete and the one on the bench is missing parts. So far the carburetors, oil filter and a chrome fan are from the spare parts box. The single manifold is going to be modified to fit the two carbs. Two pictures from my local motor museum for inspiration.

I have given myself some bench time as dust had started to settle on the TAMIYA Suzuki Katana.

It's been Father's Day here in Australia. My daughter's know me well a 66 Shelby Hertz model for the stash.

Another kit has been purchased, so no more missing parts.

I have realised that the Katana kit I am working on is missing the fuel tanks, suspension bits and god knows what else. So tomorrow I will go to the hobby shop and purchase the same one, the parts box gets bigger, no more cheap online deals.

I am now onto another TAMIYA motorcycle a Suzuki GSX 1100S, one of two similar bikes I picked up on my travels, stage one almost done.

Well that was fun, I have completed the IMAI FLH US Army bike. Painted in SMS Storm Grey and changed the exhaust and added the visor, plus made spare parts.

Today the battery, spark plugs, back brake line and most of the foot controls. Part B5 was not on the spruce a danger of buying old kits online, so I made a spare one and added wire to the spark plugs so I can super glue in place.

IMAI 1/12 scale Harley Davidson Shovelhead engine and mission case installed.

Next on the bench is an IMAI FLH Harley Davidson. I don't do army stuff so building it as a custom.

Tamiya 300SL Mercedes Benz is almost finished just a few pieces left to attach.

I have made a mixture of flat red and red TAMIYA paint for the airbrush to do the interior. The drive shaft and fuel tank are installed

Still here, I haven't been building as I have had the flu and now on the mend. I will be back at the bench soon to progress on the 300SL.

I got some bench time today, had to get a respiratory infection from the the wife to get it.

I have received the magic Ammo Ultra Glue for the clear stuff yet to come. So stages 1 to 4 are complete, I am loving the detail.

I thought I might do a quick afternoon build. This is the pocket bike from the 1/12 IMAI US Army, 1980 FLH Harley Davidson.

Next on the bench a 1/24 TAMIYA Mercedes Benz 300 SL Full View. I am going to get better at clear plastic gluing somehow.

I calling this one finished 1/12 TAMIYA Yamaha XV1600. I use Italian red and Everest white SMS paint. The hand brush detailing painted with Tamiya and black rubber AK paints. Great kit by #Tamiya glad I found it.

I have entered my Mini Cooper S into this online model competition by "Hearns Hobbies" in Melbourne and it made the cut. The prize is an iwata airbrush, if anyone has the time to give us a like on their Facebook page the comp is a featured post. Cheers Jeff.

First mock up of the front suspension on this XV1600 Yammy.

I have finally found some time to work on the TAMIYA Yamaha XV1600. Front tyre and suspension is the order of the day as the front fender decals set.

I have been trying to lessen the model kit stash this year. These two bikes and the one I am working on have been the only kits purchased so far, this makes the stash total 17. I got these off eBay for $55 for the pair, bargain.

Test fitting the newly painted parts, I have some touch ups to do then detail and clear coat. I received a new SMS 2.0mm. Dragon Air brush today I am keen to try it out. #Tamiya XV 1600 Roadster.

I am now working on my first 1/12 Tamiya Motorcycle a XV1600. I can see why people like these kits they come together beautifully. I have only broken the suspension inside the spring but it's in and it will do, painting next.

This was a great kit from the moment I found it on holiday last October. I have used SMS Jet Black and hyper chrome to paint the body, hand painting was Tamiya and Mr. Hobby. The engine is from the Revell 29 Ford Hot Rod with extra spark plug wires and fuel lines. #Revell57Chevy

I'm getting closer to the finish line #Revell57Chevy. I have cut the bonnet so the engine from the Revell 29 Ford hot rod fits. It's down to the details now, but off to work I go.

Fixed yesterday's mistake, the body fitted on nicely with the engine swap. I still have got a little bit to do modifying and detailing. #Revell57Chevy

Today I polished the body and learnt not to paint the chrome before that step. Tomorrow a bit of touch ups to right the wrong.

The 57 Chevy is out of the paint booth and the chrome has been added. Time to polish the body, I have the hood shiny already. Also a quick test fit of the interior with the custom roll bar.

Today while watching paint dry, I decided safety first. I have built my first scratch roll cage and fitted it in.

I have added the passenger seat belt, next the five point harness for the driver. The dash board decals are next, the interior almost to where I want it to be.

Hi all, An afternoon at the bench, 57 Chevy small block with blower is almost over the line.

57 Revell Bel Air, I have changed the original engine, in doing so I have had to modified the water pump mounts. I am working on this modified engines fit. #Justforfun

For the Revell 57 Chevy, I am going for a blown version, 1st mock up.

I'm keeping with #Revell for my next build a 57 Chevy Bel Air, choosing the wheel combo.
