This morning, Rep. Sandra Hollins announced that she will not be running for re-election to the House next year. She has diligently served the people of her district, and of our state, for a decade, and we thank her for her dedication and hard work. She will be missed!

Thousands of Utahns are facing insurance premium increases that they simply can’t afford, all thanks to Trump and our GOP representatives in Congress. At a time when the cost of living is already a huge burden on families, this is going to be devastating. We deserve action from our leaders.

The Utah GOP is currently gathering signatures to put a full repeal of Proposition 4 on the ballot next year. They can’t stand the people having a voice, so they are pulling out all the stops in order to give our power back to the legislature. If you see someone gathering signatures, DON’T SIGN!

While Utah families worry about losing SNAP benefits thanks to Trump’s government shutdown, he’s busy bulldozing history – by fast-tracking a luxury $350 million ballroom at the White House ignoring every approval process along the way. Same story as always: the rules don’t apply to him.

REMEMBER: due to election law updates, your ballot has to be received by election day, not postmarked. That means today is the last day you can mail your ballot for it to arrive in time, but if you can play it safe and take it to a drop box, that’s even better! Find a dropbox: vote.utah.gov.

BREAKING: The Utah Supreme Court once again rejected the Legislature’s desperate attempt to drag its feet on redistricting, denying the supermajority’s request for a stay of the Third District Court ruling. That means the timeline for new congressional maps stays in place.
