I had the opportunity today to help a young 16 year old boy who's leg was lost in an accident. I went alongside his dad and showed him all the things he could do, even with his crutches which I told him in time would go. What an invigorating experience. I cried in the locker room afterwards. 🥲🥲🥲

Our Neighbors are from Columbia. They have a toddler. He loves toast and Jam. They brought over a bunch of different Columbian foods to sample and it was terrific. In return I gave them 3 different types of Jam I've made for the wee one. That's just how things go in Canada! 🇨🇦🇨🇦

When my leg was amputated, I was very heavily medicated in the ICU. I unknowingly told Eileen that she could go if this was too much. It wasn't what I chose or wanted for her, and in my stupor, I likely felt it was honorable. I don't remember saying it. But she's still here and still PISSED at me!!
