A rat found my bird feeders and I reluctantly had to deal with it. I find it easier to do if I name them so, sorry Donald but you lot made right mess of the basement last time. I don't have a photo of a rat so I'm using this crab instead.

Way back in 1992 I found a tern inland at Colwick Nottm. I called it Roseate for then obvious reasons and all agreed. It took three years of it returning before it was thought to be a hybrid. Now I don't know. White-fronted was never considered, given the plumage, maybe #Birds #Birding #Birdwatching

Some birds are hard to get in Nova Scotia, a few years ago a friend called Golden-winged Warbler, we went and saw it. Back home, the one image of the briefly seen bird showed something was off, it was a hybrid. Others that saw it still have a list gap and haven't forgiven me. #Birds #Birding
