I discovered something about our new TV box. I couldn’t get the subtitles to stay on without much poking about. All you do is hold the microphone symbol down and say Subtitles. Imagine! Can’t wait to tell Beryl. #newalanbennetts

My friend Beryl’s watch speaks the time to her as she can’t see the numbers. Her phone reads out her letters - so clever. But I’d hate to have all those gadgets, it feels sort of intrusive. Like Alexa spying on you all day. #newalanbennetts

I got my watch battery replaced at Timpsons. It took them 3 minutes. Great timing I said (haha). Better than 6-8 weeks the jewellers said it would take, imagine! For a peasly battery! #newalanbennetts

My OH had finished his supper so I offered to wheel him back to his corner by the fire. He said he hadn’t finished folding his napkin yet so I told him I’d be back in half an hour. #newalanbennetts

Yesterday I hunted everywhere for OH’s favourite thick sweater which I’d had dry cleaned in the summer. Found it this morning under some other stuff completely devoured by moths - not daintily nibbled but falling apart. So guess what he’ll be getting for Christmas - yes, some moth killer…😕
