Regarding Greece PD chief Mike Wood on leave allegedly because he hired a deputy chief with background check issues. Baxter hired Fabian Rivera for a contract with youth. Baxter hired a Macedon sergeant, apparently while she was suspended! But there is no one to put Baxter on leave for this stuff.

Media needs to demand a direct “this case would have been prevented by X because Y.” It’s not okay to just gesture at policies and connect dots that don’t actually connect.

Took Culver Road to the dog park. From Main Street to Cobbs Hill Park. And this green SUV behind me started beeping at me and the driver mouthed “drive.” I was going 28 mph. He passed me over the double yellow line and then of course we ended up at the same red light. So dangerous and ridiculous.

Very upsetting - I have crossed there many times. There is a stretch between Parsells and Bay without a crosswalk.

More people, innocent people, could have been killed on this busy roadway. We have to stop these reckless chases in dense areas. My parents live right there and could have been struck.

The first few comments make fun of when I was hit in the head by pepper ball, causing a concussion and someone who is clearly stalking me. Lonsberry just leaves those comments there. And the post never says my disclosure is online & my LinkedIn up to date, and there is no conflict. Irresponsible.

The only problem I have with this (thanks for reporting it) is that they attribute stuff that is easily confirmed to me. I am not making claims - I am literally saying what’s happening and anyone can find the same info.

This follows a familiar pattern. First they try to ignore me. Then they try to marginalize and smear me. Next they'll actually address the behavior and try to explain it away. Then everyone will realize this is actually a big problem.

Really love the initiative to honor the city mark this way. Excellent marketing and a way to bring the community together.

A lot of us were harshly criticized for saying same. This reflects so terribly on the Bidens and the people around them.

I've heard from more than a few law enforcement officials past and present who are shocked and appalled by Sheriff Baxter's side hustle. This is a very unusual set of circumstances and everyone knows it's rotten.

The county, not the city, is responsible for homeless services. I wish the county had been called for comment.

You've got two separate issues with the jail trust fund expenditures: 1. The expenditures themselves & whether they comply with state regs. It's basically a slush fund. 2. Legal fees for what appear to be internal probe. Is this how we bury stuff now? What happened?

The story is excellent on documenting the problrem, but we also need solutions.

When a Sheriff has a business in which he's giving seminars on how to improve jail culture, he has every incentive to hide bad stuff at the jail. We'll never know if his decisions as a public officer are influenced by his desire for personal profit.

FB was frustrating. Whataboutism on bail reform and Baxter worship. But I realized many didn’t know about his side business because they didn’t click links-lesson learned that you have to kind of start over sometimes.
