On this first night of Hanukkah, I am holding in my heart the families mourning loved ones after the horrific antisemitic attack in Australia. We must stand united and do everything we can to end violence, hate, and antisemitism.

So happy to host Milwaukee Hmong New Year right here in West Allis in the 14th Assembly District. It was wonderful to see so many people come together to celebrate Hmong culture, food, traditions, dance, and music!

Had a great time at the West Allis Fire Fighters Pancake Breakfast today. It was wonderful seeing everyone and great to catch up with my County Supervisor, Justin Bielinski!

I toured the Milwaukee Secure Detention Facility with the Milwaukee legislative delegation and met with the Department of Corrections Secretary. After speaking with people who are incarcerated and witnessing the horrible conditions firsthand, there is no ambiguity.

Proud to stand with my colleagues as we introduced our Save Our Schools legislation. This bill invests in our students, supports our teachers, and ensures every community has the strong public schools our kids deserve.

Pearl Harbor Remembrance Day calls us to reflect on the lives lost, the heroes who answered the call, and the impact this day had on our nation. We will always remember.

Ten years ago, I raised my right hand and enlisted in the Wisconsin Army National Guard. That was the first time I swore to support and protect the Constitution of the United States, and that commitment continues to guide my service today.

Grateful to join the Wisconsin Historical Society for the ceremonial beam signing, which marked an important step forward in the construction of the new Wisconsin History Center on Capitol Square. This project will preserve our shared history and help tell Wisconsin’s story for generations to come!

During our November floor session, I strongly opposed Republican legislation that threatens to close our public schools. Our students and communities deserve investment, so I voted no to protect our classrooms, our teachers, and our kids.

Students deserve opportunity, not exploitation. Our legislative package holds predatory for-profit colleges accountable and protects students from abuse. Grateful for Rep. Clancy, Rep. DeSmidt, and Sen. Larson for their leadership.

November is Native American Heritage Month. It’s a time to honor Indigenous history, uplift Native voices, and recognize the ongoing fight for visibility and justice.

Happy Holiday Folk Fair! Growing up, I always enjoyed celebrating my Filipino heritage here and experiencing the incredible mix of cultures through food, music, dance, and community.

Today we remember the Waukesha Christmas Parade tragedy, four years later. I’m holding in my heart the lives lost, the victims and families who continue to bear this grief, the first responders who served with bravery, and the entire community still working to heal. We honor them today and always.

I’m hiring! My office is looking for a full-time Legislative Assistant to join our team at the Wisconsin State Capitol. This role focuses on office administration, constituent services, communications, and legislative research.

Today, we remember the transgender people whose lives were stolen by anti-trans violence. As we honor their memory, I’ll continue fighting for policies that protect trans Wisconsinites, affirm their humanity, and ensure our state is a safe place for everyone.

Last month, I had the wonderful opportunity to join the West Allis Community Conversation on supporting our unhoused neighbors. I was grateful to see such a strong turnout from residents, community members, and local stakeholders committed to helping people in need.

Proud to be a lead author on legislation that supports our veterans and provides them with the resources they need to live and thrive. Our bills strengthen mental health care, expand housing and outreach services, honor and recognize our veterans, and work to bring our MIA heroes home.

Today I joined my colleagues from both sides of the aisle in urging FEMA to approve Wisconsin’s disaster assistance appeal. Communities across southeastern Wisconsin, including right here in the 14th District, suffered devastating flood damage this year and cannot recover alone.
