When I was at school my headteacher stood at the door of the canteen EVERYDAY and chatted to us. He remembered little things about us all and made us feel important. I always tried my best to do this so my students knew that I cared. Because I did. A lot 🤍

Plan for the next three weeks. Identify the students who will struggle the most. Support them. Be proactive not reactive. Most of all be calm. Your calm is contagious. They are always watching, always taking your lead 💛

If you have student that you know is going to struggle in the run up to the Christmas holiday make a plan with them. Share the plan with home and ALL staff. How will their days look? Who is their key person? When will they check in? 💛
