I don’t typically have time to think about games leaving impressions on me… But… This is PSO. My first experience playing an online game, communicating with online players using a keyboard tethered to a console, and it was the first time I made friends online. It carried me through hard times, too

Im going to be a downer and say I hated that the FF7R demo on S2 performs like a version of the game I played 5 years ago. I wish the performance was at 60. Game looks dark too even with HDR off and standard settings. I don’t see the point when there is no way Rebirth and 3 won’t run like poo on S2

I had a chance to nab Kirby for $19 after some coupons I had and he is worth the msrp , honestly. I’m stupid obsessed with the game. I think as divisive as it is, for those of us where everything about Air Riders just clicks, it can turn into a bit of an obsession.

Just beat Marvel Cosmic Invasion. A fine time waster with zero depth. A literal callback to a snes beat em up with the level design and replayability of one. Certainly not worth the $30 + price

Hanging out in a paddock (online lobby) with 32 players in Kirby Air Riders really hits home with me on just how much this feels like Takeshi's Castle. Truthfully, most of Sakurai’s games probably do. I love it.

Oh man, I got the True Ending to Kirby Air Riders and now I get to decide if I think this is my favorite Sakurai game. Give the man all the flowers, I swear.

Played ranked matches in Kirby Air Riders and unlocked all but two courses. For me, this is by far the best arcade racer ever put out.

I love Sakurai but the man designs menus like a DOS flowchart lmao. Having an absolute blast with Kirby Air Riders.

Me, noticing the bathroom blinds right before taking a bath: “Ew” ADHD adter cleaning the blinds: “I bet all the walls in this bathroom and bedroom are dirty too!” Me two hours after deep cleaning all the walls , ceilings, windows and curtains: “I’m too tired for that bath.”

I was an 11 year old living on the other side of the planet where this had not released. My dad takes a two month work trip around the states and brings this back to me. It took me three months to roll credits on this and I have vivid memories working my way through it. One of my all time favorites

I bought the NSO n64 controller when it released and never used it much less experimented with it playing …anything really on the nintendo switch. Used it with Mario Kart World and Kirby Air Riders and it can be a phenomenal controller with the right game. I’m surprised tbh

It took 5 months but I figured how to get the Switch 2 HDR to work with my LG Oled. I had to switch the input on my tv to pc instead of console so I could get control of the RGB settings. I set that to limited, (like the console) turned down black lvls to 30, and this looks incredible.

My university theatre teacher - one of my first mentors - passed away. He lived a long life and he was a bright light to many of us who studied under him. Some of my college friends and I are exchanging texts about our time with him. I’m profoundly sad. He was one of few adults who inspired me.
