📚 Just Finished: Far and Away ✈️ ✈️ ✈️ ✈️ … a house swap by 2 families between Berlin, Germany & Dallas, Texas, each in the midst of escaping family drama. Living in DFW area, and from German roots, this was a fun read for me. Lighthearted and well wrapped up, I can happily recommend.

📚Finished Yesterday: The Sunflower House 🌻🌻🌻🌻 The more I learn, the more I’m horrifed. Lebensborn, eugenics, 25,000 children 😔 … what a slippery slope. Reads like fiction, but isn’t, except for the only light in this book, the attempted rehabilitation portions. Sigh.

📚 Just Finished: The Alienist. 🥼🥼🥼🥼🥼… ⚠️ many triggers. But what a psychological, historical (late 1800s in NYC) thriller. Carr builds anxiety like no other, IMO. This is a very dark, but fascinating read-the beginnings of psychological profiling to find a serial killer; a bit of nature vs. nurture.
