I've never understood why 'print-on-demand' wasn't more of a thing for video games. It's been common with books, music and film for ages. It seems like companies prefer throwing their old expensive, hard-made games in the dumpster instead of making money from them, though.

One of those "woman has an evil demon baby" horror stories, but they actually love each other and have a wholesome parent-child relationship. They make cookies and read books together after a long day of like, opening chasms to hell and tormenting the masses.

Purely from my experience where I’ve lived, even “minor” deforestation has a serious negative impact, from ambience and noise pollution to the weather, to the prevalence of insects, it all worsens in a way you can measure firsthand.

I know it’s not an end-all of environmental repair, and reforesting would be my preference, but an efficient carbon-capture tech that people could have around their homes, especially places without greenery, could be a useful concept.

Nature and biology are the original artists to study. This does depend on your genre, but I personally don't bother with measuring lines. Real life is crooked, even walls of buildings are always a bit imperfect. I just find playing it by eye always fits the drawing better.

I collect Pokemon cards casually and *every* store I've been to has a disturbing scalper story. Retro games a few years ago was a great hobby if you were a teen without much of your own money. At most $35 for anything. It's sad how that experience has been ripped away from everyone.

I'm working on minor remodels of the Katabasis characters. There are character types I wish I had added, maybe more diverse hair colours besides brunettes, but I'm happy with them.

SH3 might be my favourite game, period, followed very closely by 4>2>1. SH4 fits my vibe more and just hit me at the right time, but SH2's sadness and nostalgia is unmatched. Born From a Wish hits hard too, I was so sad the remake didn't include it.

I love how every band randomly has an obscure B-side / demo that's one of the most gut-wrenchingly beautiful things you've ever heard and they don't acknowledge its existence. And if it wasn't for Youtube, you could only find it on an ancient mix cassette that was only released to 10 people.

Disabled / indigenous characters who exist only for trauma or magic. A truly horrible trope. Abusive, mean characters mispositioned as "strong heroes". Interestingly, often shows up alongside toothless, bland "business" villains. Writer was afraid to write the villain doing evil, but not the hero?

It's crazy to me that people don't keep their precious media in cases. And I believe disc rot must come mostly from improper storage. Because I've seen THOUSANDS of discs in my life, and only one case of disc rot - a CD that was left in the air.

And speaking of... the Goo Goo Dolls did a song for one of the Elm Street movies?? I never knew that.
